Alrighty, i have made some uptades on some of the chapters since i have uploaded them.... dont worry this is going to happen a lot so yeah... anwyays, nothing major just some minor tweaks.

Chapter 5:- Changed the colour of Ankhesen's fur from white to a more creamy-brown

Chapter 11:- As Keejana approaches Morgan's ship in the shuttle, she makes menion of the ship name which is "Lady"

Chapter 17:- I got rid of that stoopid song at the end of the chapter . My editor can rejoice now hehehehe (he hated it in the first print run). to Steve, my poor editor.

What is Almagest?
Almagest is a series of books for teens based in the future (the year 2274).
At this stage, Earth is an uninhabitable ice wasteland and the majority of the Human race is now living on or around Earth’s moon (save for some small colonies still residing on the frozen planet).
Though, it has become apparent that with each passing year the Earth is becoming increasingly unstable. It is quite literally breaking up.
The first book introduces us to Keejana Brooks, a strong willed and very opinionated space captain. Keejana has been chosen to cart a load of Human refugees across pirate ridden territories to a new home.
But not all is as it seems when Keejana and an alien ambassador are taken hostage by space pirates. And as things unfold she finds herself stumbling upon their plan to overtake this shipment of refugees and take the land for themselves.
But that isn’t all.
For this planet with which they endeavour to land on holds some its own secretes. Not only is it inhabited by two already known species- not all of whom are happy to have the Humans there- but it still shows the scars of a vastly powerful enemy, that threatens the lives of everyone involved…
